Prior to the entrepreneurial ventures, Arun worked as:
Director-Finance & Administration, First Consulting Group: At the offshore subsidiary of FCG, a NASDAQ listed healthcare solutions & software services Company, Arun worked closely with senior leadership teams worldwide in planning Asia growth strategies, developing operational and execution plans, and developing organizational performance reporting measures.
Earlier, he worked with Deloitte & Touche, India where he covered various corporate audit and taxation assignments apart from working on due diligence activities for Venture Capital investors and acquisitions.
A Chartered Accountant and an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai, Arun has 19 years of experience in

Murali speaks several Asian languages including Chinese. He understands different cultures and the ways of business in the regions that he operates. He is considered a pioneer Singapore Indian to venture to China during the nineties. He has brought several Singapore companies to China, advising them in identifying potential partners and setting up Joint Venture companies in China.
He is a member, and probably the only Singapore Indian, of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce. Currently, he also allocates his time as mentor to young entrepreneurs and startups:
Investment Adviser, Mianzhu County, Sichuan Province (2005): Murali was officially appointed as an Investment Adviser to the Mianzhu county in Sichuan province. He advised and successfully raised initial project capital for the relocation of 90,000 families upstream of the Xiangzhaba Hydroelectric Dam located between Sichuan and Yunnan provinces. He was interviewed and featured in a local Singapore Chinese paper in 2007 as a unique Singapore Indian businessman undertaking several projects in China.
Founder, Oiltex (1994): Murali formed Oiltex with a focus on the Oil and Gas market in China. He represented several European and American companies in the China market and established strong relationships with several top level decision makers in the Sinopec Refineries and Petrochemical business. His pioneering efforts saw China Refinery adopt a new Crude Distillation Technology through the support of Shell. Murali successfully launched businesses in China for other companies which Oiltex represented. In 2005, he initiated a joint knowledge-based collaboration between Colonial Pipeline Company in the U.S. and Petrochina Pipeline Company of China. He played a key role in providing technical inputs to the first 2400 km multi-product pipeline from Maoming to Kunming during the design stage.
Petroleum and Projects Manager, General Scientific Company (1992): Tasked with developing the existing business and manage a turnaround of the company, he achieved an increase in turnover by 60% and nett profits by 50% within a year and a half. He also simultaneously acted as Regional Manager of Petroleum Analytical Company (PAC) of USA whom General Scientific company represented as agents for Singapore and Malaysia. Under his direction in Asia PAC saw unprecedented increase in sales in the Asian region. Brought value to shareholders of General Scientific enabling a sale to Fisher Scientifc Company, a Fortune 500 company in the US in 1994.
Process and Instrument Engineer, Exxon (1981): Murali started his career with Exxon in 1981 as a Process and Instrument Engineer. After accumulating eight years of valuable experience with Exxon he moved on to work as a commissioning engineer for new Oil Refineries and Petrochemical installations in the South Asian region working with the likes of Chiyoda, Brown & Root and Foster Wheeler.
